Nearly two dozen friends and family gathered for the 5th Annual Marc L. Rosenberg Bike Ride to benefit the Jewish Family Service Food Pantry. The 5th Annual Marc L. Rosenberg (MLR) Friends & Family Bike Ride brought together nearly two dozen riders to raise funds for the Jewish Family Service (JFS) Food Pantry while remembering Marc, a lifelong resident of Margate, business and community leader.

Last month, friends and family of Rosenberg gathered in Margate for the annual 28-mile ride raising more than $1,600.

“I commend Patti Rosenberg and the participants of this annual ride,” explained Andrea Steinberg, JFS Executive Director. “It is wonderful to see everyone come together year after year, not only to remember a wonderful community member but also give back to those in need.”

In addition to the annual Bike Ride, the Marc L. Rosenberg Memorial Fund was created in 2011. The Memorial Fund provides essential financial support to the JFS programs in need of funding. Since its inception, the Fund has supported the agencies’ older adult services and nutrition services including senior transportation, food pantry, Kosher Meals-on-Wheels and nursing services.
