The Katz JCC in Margate will host a one day AARP Drivers Safety Class on Thursday, Feb. 2. The AARP Drivers Safety Course is the nation’s first and largest classroom refresher for all motorists. Participants will learn how to drive defensively and avoid driving hazards. Auto insurance discounts and point deductions are available with completion of this class.

The class runs from 9 to 4 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $ 14 for nonmembers. This class is not open to those with drivers licenses from Florida or New York. The check should be made payable to AARP. Advance registration required and spaces are limited to the first 25 paid registrants.
