Joel Chipkin, president of the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center, and Jared Videll, president of the Trocki Jewish Community Day School have announced a kindergarten collaboration between the Katz JCC and the Trocki Jewish Community Day School in support of the JCC’s Kindergarten program.

“We are one community and need to work together to do what is best for the children.” said Chipkin. Videll said that “This collaboration will allow us to plan joint field trips, work together on the Jewish content of the program, use the JCC swimming pool and more. We are excited about the possibilities of this relationship.”

While both the Katz JCC and the Trocki Jewish Community Day School will host separate kindergartens, each program will provide a high quality curriculum that will prepare children for the remainder of their education. While the programs provide a different perspective in the Jewish education component, they both serve children well in different ways. “We look forward to the possibilities in this partnership,” said Chipkin.
