Gladys Szermer, 84, of Margate, passed away on August 3, 2010. Born in Czechoslovakia, she, along with her late husband, Joe Szermer, were survivors of the Nazi Holocaust. Long time local residents, she and Joe were founding members of the McKee City Synagogue.

Gladys is survived by her loving daughter, Marsha (Murray) Aaron of Wilmington, DE and beloved grandsons, Ben and Lenny Aaron. Graveside services were held Aug. 8, in the Holocaust Memorial section of Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements were by ROTHGOLDSTEINS’ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Atlantic City.
