Jewish Film Festival at Vineland’s Landis Theater

Five highly-acclaimed recent Jewish films will be featured at the Third Annual Jewish Film festival, starting Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the Landis Theater Performing Arts Center, 830 E. Landis Ave., Vineland.

The festival, which runs through Wednesday, Sept. 1, is presented by Jewish Federation of Cumberland, Gloucester & Salem Counties.

The five films are “Everything is Illuminated,” “Like a Fish Out of Water,” “God’s Sandbox,” “Promises” and “Father’s Footsteps.”

“In addition to its entertainment or social value, film can be a powerful lens through which to examine society,” said Federation Executive Director Kirk Wisemayer. Tickets are $5 for adults and are free to children, seniors, and Festival sponsors. They are available at the Landis Theater Performing Arts Center Box Office at 856-691-1121. Sponsor tickets are available by calling 856-696- 4445.
