Beth Judah Temple in Wildwood will be having special Friday Night services with music by Grover Bradshaw on July 9 and July 23. Services start at 6:30 p.m. This is a chance to enhance your Shabbat with music.

Summer Fun 2010

What better place for your two- to six-year–old to spend the mornings, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from June 29 through August 5, than Congregation Beth Judah’s Early Learning Center SUMMER FUN 2010!! There is something for every child to enjoy and learn. Two-year- olds have a choice of a two-day or three-day-a-week program. Three-to-six-year-olds have a choice of four hours or six hours a week. You do not have to be a member to enroll your child/grandchild in this exciting interactive program. Please call for information at 822- 7116.

Trip to Baltimore

Harbor

Brith Sholom Seashore Lodge, is sponsoring an all-day, all- inclusive trip to the National Landmark Baltimore Harbor on Wednesday, September 22, 2010.

The day will start with a visit to Ft. McHenry, where the Star Spangled Banner was written. This will be followed by a complete buffet lunch at Philips Seafood. The highlight of the trip will be a visit to the world famous National Aquarium, including free admission to several shows and performances.

Beth El Synagogue will be having a Tisha B'Av service on Tuesday evening, July 20 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Participating in the service will be Rabbi Shley from California. Following the service there will be a video presented by Will Kahane on his family and how they were saved during the Holocaust. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information contact 823-2725.

A tribute to the artistry of Barbra

Streisand

Temple Emeth Shalom presents a tribute to the artistry of Barbra Streisand – "Then and Now" – at a special concert at the Temple, 8501 Ventnor Ave., Margate, on Wednesday, July 21.

Professional Celebrity Tribute Artist Carla Del Villaggio has the look, the sound and the mannerisms of the famous singer/actress in her "Simply Streisand" performance. Game Days Beth El Sisterhood Summer game days with lunch are back every Tuesday until Aug. 31. Time is 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $8 per person. There will be raffles and great door prizes. Bring your friends and make new ones. If you are looking for a game, we will try to accommodate you.

Wildwood's Annual Raffle and Grand Buffet

Beth Judah Temple in Wildwood is having its 19th Annual Raffle. Tickets are $100 each. The grand prize is $10,000; 2nd and 3rd prizes are $1,250. Only 250 tickets will be sold.

The drawing will take place at the temple's Grand Buffet Brunch on Sunday, Aug. 22. The drawing will take place at 12 noon.

The Grand Buffet will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets to the Grand Buffet are $10.50 for adults, $6 for children under 12. Children under 6 are free.

The MAPS Foundation of South Jersey will present "Aloha Hawaiian Luncheon" in the Trump Taj Mahal Ballroom on Sept. 13, at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets are $40 for members and $45 for nonmembers. Admission includes parking, lunch (salad, grilled chicken or Mahi-Mahi, desert and beverage) Hawaiian music and dancing and a fashion show by White House-Black Market and Lou Marchiano's Men Shop that will be modeled by TV-40 Newscasters.

All visitors and summer residents are invited to attend services at Temple Beth Shalom, Brigantine's Little Shul by the Sea.

Temple Beth Shalom is a Conservative Synagogue led by Rabbi Gerald R. Fox. Services are held every Friday evening at 8 p.m., followed by an Oneg Shabbat. In addition, services are held on the second Saturday of every month at 10 a.m., followed by a Kiddush.

Cape May Forum Launches New Arts

and Cultural

Program

The Cape May Forum- Chautauqua at the Shore is launching a new arts and cultural program featuring creative and inspiring speakers, events and workshops designed to help enhance the life experience of residents and visitors to the greater Cape May community.

Cape May Forum's first theme is entitled "Humor: Can It Save the World?" The official launch will take place at the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, 500 Hughes St, on Saturday, July 10, at 10 a.m. Author/Speaker John Morreall, Ph.D., will present a program entitled "Red, White and Often Blue," addressing the history of American humor from Ben Franklin to Sarah Silverman.
