Chabad Shabbat Dinner and Lecture with IDF Chaplain
Chabad has invited the community to participate in a Shabbat dinner and lecture on Friday, July 23, at 8:30 p.m., for an evening of “inspiration, good food, songs, great company and a warm shabbos spirit.”
Guest speaker will be Rabbi Shalom Hammer, IDF Chaplain. His talk is entitled, “Armed and Sacred – The Spiritual Role of a Soldier in the Israeli Army”. Participants will join in a three–course traditional Shabbat dinner, including challah, salads, gefilte fish, chicken soup, kugels, chicken and more.
The event will be held at the Chabad Ventnor Shul, 6412 Ventnor Ave. The cost is $22 adults and $15 children. RSVP by July 19. Shabbat services will begin at 7:15 p.m., followed by dinner. For more information call 822-8500.
