NOW - August 5 Rosh Hashanah Honey Sale – Wish your family, friends, colleagues or students who are away at school, a sweet and good New Year with an 8 oz. gift jar of pure, Kosher honey. Each gift jar will include a unique Rosh Hashanah greeting and will be delivered anywhere in the United States in time to celebrate the holiday. Orders must be placed by August 5th. July 21 – Wed. Holocaust Survivor Luncheon – Beth El Synagogue, Margate at 12 p.m. Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. The cost is $8 per person (payable at the door. Contact BJ Pinnock at 609-822- 1108 or bjpinnock@jfsatlantic.org for more information.

July 21 – Wed. "Social Challenges from Teasing to Bullying" Workshop – Jewish Family Service at 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Whether you're a child or an adult, you will find that bullying occurs in our schools, social circles and workplaces. Discover valuable skills to help you deal with this social challenge as we address the question, "Where does teasing begin and bullying take over?" and effective ways to deal with both. August 2 – Mon. 23rd Annual House Tour – An exclusive tour of six of Absecon Island's most luxurious homes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests will have the unique opportunity to tour magnificent homes throughout Ventnor, Margate and Longport. August 10 – Tue. Informational Sessions for Dynamics of Diabetes – Jewish Family Service at 2–3 pm ; 6–7p.m. Informational sessions for newly diagnosed adults living with diabetes, featuring tools to manage diabetes, an expert Q&A session, as well as the opportunity to register for a free formal educational program. August 13 – Fri. Project Homeless Connect – Atlantic City Rescue Mission, 2009 Bacharach Blvd., Atlantic City, at 12p.m. Those experiencing homelessness in Atlantic County can come to Project Homeless Connect for a day of hospitality and to make connections to vital social services. August 18 – Wed. "Talk so People Listen and Listen so People Talk" Workshop – Jewish Family Service at 7:00 p.m. Do you ever feel like no one is listening? Communication is the key to family, friendship, social and professional relationships. Discover the WOW (Way of Words) factor. You will learn how words can unlock barriers to communication, create open and receptive environments and encourage people to express themselves and listen to others.
