JFS Installs Officers, Board at Annual Meeting

Executive Director Andrea Steinberg welcomed nine new officers and board members to Jewish Family Service during the agency’s annual meeting this month, at Congregation Beth Israel.
Eric Wood took office for his two year term as president. He was installed by his mother and past JFS president, Golda Wood. Eric is the Managing Partner at Fox Rothschild Attorneys at Law for the Atlantic City office, and serves on the board of directors for the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic County Bar Association and Jewish Federation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties.
Jewish Family Service also welcomed VP/Treasurer Mitchell Gurwicz, Vice Presidents Richard Wise, M.D. and Beverly Rubin, Secretary Jennifer Weissman as well as Deena Dine, Rabbi Aaron Gaber and Sari Hausler to its board of directors.
Marcia Fiedler, Robert Hammerschlag, Kristina Podolnick and Cheryl Wisneski were re-elected to the Board of Directors for a two-year term.
The agency also recognized several employees for their dedication, leadership and years of service:
20 Years of Service – Carol Noto, ICMS case manager/Wellness & Recovery coordinator; 10 Years of Service – Theresa Maddox, ICMS case manager and Barbara Moscariello, manager of Billing & Data System Administration; Outstanding Service Award – Adam Fishman, ICMS Case manager; Emerging Professional Award Theresa Williams, PATH/Plus Services case manager; Heart & Soul Award – Nancy Thomas, Support Staff, and Leadership Award – Jim McGuigan, ICMS senior team leader.
