Pieces of Hope – A Wellness & Recovery Conference
Thursday, June 10, 2010 @ 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. , at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Held by Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. This unique conference offers a variety of educational workshops conducted by our area’s most respected professionals. Workshop topics include dental health, budgeting, healthy eating, personal wellness, higher education and yoga. Cost $15 per person. Holocaust Survivor Luncheon
Wednesday, June 16, 2010 @ 12p.m., at Jewish Family Service .Held by Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, The Holocaust Resource Center of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and local Holocaust Survivors. Atlantic Interfaith Collaborative – Volunteer
Training
Thursday, June 24, 2010 @ 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Jewish Family Service. Held by Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. The Atlantic Interfaith Collaborative is a unique program which provides assistance to those in need through friendly visits from members of their place of worship. Jewish Family Service is looking for volunteers for one hour a week. The volunteer visitor fulfills a sacred role by showing compassion and providing a connection to the community. A Workshop for High School Juniors and Seniors to boost college essay writing skills. Learn ways to sharpen your writing and get the attention of college admissions officers.
