Regional Rabbis to be Honored by Day School

The new date for the Trocki Jewish Community Day School annual fundraiser honoring local rabbis of every denomination is Sunday, June 13, at 5 p.m.

Rabbi Aaron Gaber, Rabbi David Weis, Rabbi Aaron Krauss, Rabbi Gordon Geller, Rabbi Sholom Ever, Rabbi Max Fox, Rabbi Jeffrey Lipschultz, Rabbi Gerald Fox, Rabbi Avrohom Rapoport, and Rabbi Shmuel Rapoport will be on hand to celebrate the completion of the first full year since the merger of two Jewish schools, the Trocki Hebrew Academy and the Jewish Community Day School in March, 2009.

A gourmet kosher cocktail/buffet will take place at the Clarion Hotel, 6821 Black Horse Pike. The cost for the evening is $75 per person.

“We have one quality Jewish Day School in our community. It is incumbent upon us all to make every effort to attend the dinner, place an ad in the Ad Book, and recruit our neighbors to do the same,” said Dr. Jared Videll, president of the TJCDS. “Everyone in the community should realize the importance of a Jewish Day School, it is not just for the orthodox, reform, or conservative movements, it is for Judaism itself.
