Jeff Kripitz, federation president The Milton and Betty Katz JCC and the Jewish Federation hosted a Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration at the opening of the Israel Mission Photo exhibit on April 22, 2010 titled “Through our Eyes, Community Mission to Israel.”

The event, in which Barbara Harvis, Sheryl Rubin, Jeff Kripitz and Michael Burns, mission participants, talked about their impressions of the mission and helped bring Israel to our community on a personal level. Jack Fox, executive director of the JCC and Bob Seltzer, executive vice president of the Jewish Federation facilitated the program.

Also included in the evening was a reunion of all of the participants on the Mission. The photo exhibit displayed pictures taken by mission participants. The exhibit will be on display until the end of May.
