Louis Glickman, 83, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Hammonton, New Jersey and Miami, Florida, passed away March 3, 2010. Funeral services were held March 5 at Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto, Florida.

Survivors include wife, Joan; sons, David (Susan) of Odessa, Florida and Bob (Sari) of Windermere, Florida; daughters, Betsy Nixon of Brandon, Florida and Penny Glickman (Kevin Toye) of Winter Park, Florida; brother, Herbert of West Orange, New Jersey, stepson Bob (Patsy) Rothhouse of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, stepdaughters Gail (Peter) Weintraub of Elkins Park, PA, and Jill Soifer of Linwood, NJ, and ten grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Deborah.

Louis served in the Army during World War II and lost his left arm and left leg during the war. In spite of losing two limbs, he lived his life with no limits, with laughter, and with love for his family and friends. His gentle spirit and kind heart were an inspiration to all who knew him. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
