KING DAVID’S JERUSALEM. This photo was taken during the Jewish Federation of Atlantic and Cape May Counties’ recent Mission to Prague and Israel. On this particular day the group explored the excavation of King David’s Jerusalem, including walking through what might have been the very tunnel (water system) that David used to capture the Jebusite citadel. Mara Vasslides presented over one hundred knitted hats to a representative of the IDF in Tel Aviv. The hats were knitted to IDF standards by the residents of Shalom House in Ventnor.
