What are our future rabbis studying and how relevant is it to our daily lives? Rabbincal student Alex Freedman will visit Congregation Beth Judah for the Annual Seminary Shabbat Weekend, Saturday morning, March 6, at 9 a.m.

Freedman is a second year student at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City and plans to receive his Master’s degree in Jewish Education from the Davidson School as well. The future rabbi has spent his summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, and a year in Israel on the Nativ program before graduating from Washington University in St. Louis. After graduation Freedman studied at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He also is a Wexner Graduate Fellow.

Since his plans after ordination are to pursue a career in Jewish Education with either a day school or a camp, he continues to spend his summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin.

Congregation Beth Judah will offer a Kiddush Luncheon after services. To make reservation or for more infonnation call 822-7116.
