Purim Activities at Beth El Synagogue
Beth El Synagogue will present a Purim holiday comedy play. “The Megillah According to Rodgers & Hammerstein” at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 28th at 500 N. Jerome Avenue, Margate. Staging Director is Denise Borisch, with Cantor Ralph Goren as the Music Director. This pure fun ”Spiel,” freely based on the Purim story from the book of Esther is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages. Admission for adults is $5, Sponsors $25 (includes 2 preferred seats), children under 12 free. Light refreshments. Sponsor payment: please mail checks to Beth El Synagogue.
Beth El children’s carnival begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday February 28th. There are games and prizes for all ages at a nominal fee. The Men’s Club CafĂ© will be open for breakfast and lunch. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Beth El’s Passover Store grand Opening will be on Sunday, February 28th at 10 a.m. Beginning at 3 p.m. there will be a Passover wine tasting and Passover cheeses for sampling.
