Helfant, Bella R. (Rosen) 82 - passed away with her children and special friends by her side on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Meadowview Nursing Home in Northfield.

Bella was a lifelong resident of the area; born in Atlantic City in 1927. A graduate of Atlantic City High School Class of 1945, she went on to Temple University. Bella spent 46 years as a resident of Margate where she raised her three children. Bella moved to Absecon where she resided until her battle with cancer required too much care to live at home.

Bella loved Atlantic City and was proud to represent her home town as a registrar for the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority. She was a member of Temple Beth El in Margate. Bella was an extraordinarily devoted mother, daughter, and friend. All who knew her, knew that to be true; a Mother beyond measure.

She is pre-deceased by her brother, Charles “Chuck” Rosen and her beloved son, the late Perry T. Helfant, Esquire. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her children; Margie Helfant of Absecon and Richard Helfant of Egg Harbor Township. She will remain in the hearts of those she touched forever.

Services were held Sunday, November 15th, at Beth El Synagogue in Margate. Interment was in the Ateres Tzvi section of Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township.
