Rabbi Shalom Ever looks forward with huge excitement to lead his new congregation, Young Israel of Margate, beginning Shabbos Thanksgiving weekend, November 27-28.

Rabbi Ever brings to his new community a wide breadth of experience and skills. He embarked upon a rabbinical career with ordination from the world famous Hebron Yeshiva Rabbinical Collage Of Jerusalem at the age of eighteen.

Rabbi Ever provided spiritual leadership for over a quarter of a century at Agudath Israel Synagogue in Miami Beach, Florida. After making Aliyah to Israel, his oratory and teaching abilities continued in Jerusalem for over a decade. Rabbi Ever then led a Synagogue in Las Vegas, Nevada, for five years, where he developed a series of special lectures to educate and intellectually stimulate the Las Vegas Jewish community.

Rabbi Ever, who graduated from the University of Miami, plans an expansive curriculum at the Shul which may include everything from: Hebrew alpha bet; advanced Talmud; basic tenets of Jewish beliefs to the Torah portion of the week; Halacha (Jewish Law) to Kabbalah (Jewish Mysticism); classes for teens; pre-and-post Bar\Bat Mitzvah training.
