Beth El Synagogue and the Jewish War Veterans of The Garr Greenstein Friedenberg Post 39 have been helping the veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan by collecting items needed by the soldiers. This project came about through the members of Beth El Synagogue and one of its young choir member's husband being stationed in Iraq. The Jewish War Veterans have been extremely generous in helping with the costs of the items and shipping. Photo is of Lance Corporal Ryan Catanio and his platoon.
