‘A Dickens of a Time’: A Bay-Atlantic Holiday Tradition
“A Dickens of a Time,” a fund-raising event to help support the Bay-Atlantic Symphony, will take place at the residence of Robert Dragotta, 401 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton, on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. For more than 25 years, this holiday tradition has attracted people from throughout the tri-county region. The house will be filled with the aroma of apple wood and the scent of fresh pine boughs. Hors d’oeuvres, fine wines, hot cider, and desserts will be served. There will also be a silent auction, and Bay-Atlantic Symphony Music Director Jed Gaylin will lead a fun-filled sing-along. Tickets are available at Woodruff Energy, 73 Water St., Bridgeton; The Canvas Bag, 46 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton; and the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 N. High St., Millville. The entire donation of $35 will go to the Bay-Atlantic Symphony. For more information, call the Bay-Atlantic Symphony at 856-451-1169 or visit the Symphony’s website at www.bayatlanticsymphony.org.
