Arie Gluck, a living link to Israel's stuggle for independence, will be the guest speaker at a Brunch & Learn held at the Katz JCC of Margate, on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 10:30 a.m. An engaging documentary on the life of Ariel Sharon also will be shown.

Gluck, who went from Hagganah soldier to Israel Olympic athlete, grew up under the British Authority. He joined the Hagganah resistance group as a teenager and later represented Israel in the 1952 Olympic Games.

As a member of the first Israeli Olympic team, Gluck was one of the first athletes to represent Israel on the world stage. Following Gluck's presentation there will be a documentary about the life of Ariel Sharon, spanning his military triumphs to his controversial tenure as an elected official.
