Emeth Shalom Hosts Scholar-in-Residence

Rabbi Henry A. Zoob Rabbi Henry A. Zoob Temple Emeth Shalom will present its 6th annual Scholar-in-Residence weekend Nov. 13 to 15, featuring distinguished lecturer Rabbi Henry A. Zoob.

The entire community has been invited to attend.

Rabbi Zoob, author of the forthcoming book "The Covenant and Me," will speak on Personal Questions of Self-Discovery.

Rabbi Zoob grew up in Merion, Pa. and graduated from Friends Central School of Philadelphia. He graduated from Harvard University and was ordained at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati. He also earned a Master's degree in bible at Brandeis University.

Rabbi Zoob is Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Beth David of Westwood, Mass., after serving that congregation for 36 years. He is a past president of the Massachusetts Board of Rabbis and past chairman of the Boston Area Reform Rabbis.

The weekend's schedule is: Friday, Nov. 13 - 5:30 p.m. Sabbath dinner, Scholar Program and dessert following services.

Saturday, Nov. 14 - services at 10:30 a.m. followed by brunch and continuing Scholar Program.

Sunday, Nov. 15 - Breakfast served at 10 a.m. followed by the final session with our scholar.
