Beth El Sisterhood

Brunch

Beth El Sisterhood Brunch will feature Sarah Segal, author of "Murder at the Mikvah," at the synagogue on Oct. 25, at 10:30 am.

This is Segal's first novel, and has been described as a riveting whodunit about an attack at the local mikvah that rocks a small Jewish community, leaving a Holocaust survivor dead and the wife of a popular rabbi clinging to life. One mystery here that can easily be solved is that Sarah Segal (a pen name) is actually Denise Steen of Lower Merion, who is the daughter of locals Terry and Anita Steen, who spend most of their time in Ventnor.

Cost to attend the brunch is $10 per person; the community is invited to attend. Checks should be made out and mailed to Beth El Synagogue, P.O. Box 3133, 500 N. Jerome Ave., Margate, JN 08402. For information call 823-2725.
