The project will entail the construction of 58 units, 10 of which will be reserved for those with Special Needs and feature a library, living room, community room with kitchen, and areas for individual storage. The time-frame for construction and the grand-opening is approximately 9 to 12 months. Seashore Elder Housing, LLC is sponsored by Seashore Gardens Foundation.

The ceremony included Shelley Bernstein, board chair of Seashore Gardens Living Center; Martin H. Klein, president and CEO; Richard J. Cohen, president of Seashore Gardens Foundation and guest speaker Marge DellaVecchia, executive director, New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency.
