Lois Dubin Gottlieb of Pompano Beach, Florida, and formerly of Atlantic City, died on Sept. 27, 2009. Born in Atlantic City to Morris and Lillian Dubin, she lived in Atlantic City for 65 years before moving to Florida in 1995 with her husband, Ken, to be closer to their children.

She was a devoted wife to Ken for 59 years and mother to Howard (Kaison) and Morry (Sandy) and a doting grandmother to Jeffrey, Jaime, Mike, Kevin, Ashley and Kate, all whom she cherished. She received special affection from her grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. Lois made her mark as an avid champion golfer at Linwood Country Club, The Woodlands, Boca Lago and Palm Aire.

Funeral services were held at Star of David, in North Lauderdale, Fla., on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009. Donations may be made to Shirley Mae Breast Cancer Assistance Fund P.O. Box 3265 Margate, NJ 08402 or a cancer charity of donor's choice.
