Jewish Family Service strives to bring a taste of optimism, Jewish spirit and determination to our community as we celebrate this High Holiday season. Wish your family, friends and colleagues a sweet and good New Year with a gift jar of pure, kosher honey. The gift jars cost $12 or $10 each for three or more. All proceeds will benefit Jewish Family Service children's and family programs during these unprecedented times when so many families are struggling. You, together with JFS, can make a sweet gesture resonate throughout the year.

Tzedakah is an integral part of living a Jewish life; its significance is magnified during the Days of Awe. Rabbi Bradley Shayit Artson states that, "those engaged in the mitzvah of tzedakah are the shimmering lights of God in our community. Through the work that we do now and through the year, we will persuade this hard and callous world that there is a God who rules...and that the sovereignty of God is best demonstrated when human beings help each other."

Jewish Family Service of Atlantic County serves twenty-five hundred individuals annually. The agency has a staff of 77 full and part-time staff. JFS currently operates in both Atlantic and Cape May Counties with children's, older adult and counseling services assisting members of both communities. Jewish Family Service also offers outreach and case management services, counseling/psychiatric services and a variety of wellness and parenting programs.
