Village Greene Music Series

The Village Greene music series will start on July 3 and will be held every Friday and Saturday evening in the summer (except July 4) from 5- 8 p.m. All genres of music will be covered throughout the season including blue grass, country, rock, pop, gospel, punk and oldies. The Village Greene is encouraging local artists to perform and be supported for keeping the arts alive in South Jersey.

The first groups to perform on Friday, July 3 with be Cover 3 and Township Rebellion. Cover 3 is a local band that plays Happy Punk music and Township Rebellion originates from the sticks of South Jersey and is a punk cover band. If you are into Rancid, Bouncing Souls or the Dropkick Murphys, this band is for you.

Friday, July 10 is a Car Cruise night. Performing during the car show will be Denise Miller, Elevator Art and Sherry & Bruce Townsend. All wil be playing folk and lite rock.

Saturday, July 11 with be Ugly Girls Crying and Geoff, both playing pop and punk music.

Performers for July 17 will be Drive Thru Parking, Purple Martins Migration Patterns & Ken Shiles Band. All music on the 17th will be lite and acoustic rock.

July 18, the Village Greene is proud to present: "An Evening with Elvis," including Elvis impersonators, music of the King and oldies. www. Evening with Elvis.com.
