Red, White & Blue Shabbat
Bringing Congregations together for Rest and Rockets Red Glare. Huntington Avenue Beach in Margate will be the site for this year's Shabbat of Independence as Congregation Beth Judah will host "Beth Judah Alive!" Devotion by the Ocean! on Friday, July 3 at 6:30pm. As we celebrate 233 years of American independence, Jews will flock down the shore to enjoy Shabbat worship and fellowship along with the Spirit of '76. Beth Judah Alive! is a service of classical and contemporary music designed to enhance the service both with soaring and soothing accompanied settings. This year's Independence Weekend Devotion by the Ocean will have keyboard, woodwind and percussion throughout the entire service. Participating congregations from the Philadelphia and Wildwood areas are expected to be there, along with Beth El and Emeth Shalom, Margate. Feel free to bring your dinner and picnic under the stars on the beach. For more information, please contact Beth Judah at 822-7116 or visit www.Beth Judah.org.
