Sail into Summer with Safe Boating Classes
      Boaters and sailors can obtain the mandatory state certification for operating watercraft at Atlantic Cape Community College, with classes offered throughout the summer. The two-day workshops, taking place through September, are conducted by the nationally approved Coast Boating School.

29th Annual Avalon Five Miler
      CONTACT Cape-Atlantic will hold the 29th Annual Avalon 5 Miler on Saturday, July 11 at 8:00 a.m., with registration beginning at 7:00 a.m. This five-mile run and two-mile walk begin at the Avalon Community Hall, 10th and Avalon Avenue, Avalon, NJ. Boycott of Trader Joe's Israel products fizzles
      A call for a boycott of Israeli products sold at Trader Joe's has backfired. Organizers of the "Don't Buy into Apartheid Day," also known as "Day of Deshelving Israeli Products," sent a letter to Trader Joe's asking them not to sell Israeli products, such as hummus and couscous, in their stores on June 20.
