Smolen Congregation Beth Judah, Ventnor, held its installation of officers on Friday night, June 12. The new members of the Board of Trustees, who were installed by Rabbi Aaron Gaber, were Karen Pollock, Amy Rosenberg, David Seitman, Jacob Sless and Emily Weiss.

Installed as officers were Janet Smith, secretary; Sander J. Greenberg, treasurer; Lisa Brezel, vice president; Barney Linn, executive vice president, and Jay Weiner, president.

In his outgoing message, Doug Stanger thanked all who worked with him and he presented the special President's Awards to Sheila Friedman who, for the past eight years, was editor of the monthly publication, The Messenger; to Rene Kane who, for the past 15 years, was chairperson of the Sisterhood Gift Shop; and to Liane Levenson who was stepping down as a vice president after serving on the executive committee for four years and serving as School Board chairperson for eight years.
