Girl Scout Leaders Needed

The Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ is recruiting new leaders for troops in the Inland- Island region, including Atlantic City, Ventnor, Longport, Northfield, Linwood and Somers Point, NJ. Girl Scout volunteers comprise a diverse group of women and men whose expertise, skills, interests, life experience, and availability match the many volunteer opportunities, and who work collectively with other volunteers and staff to nurture each girl's individuality and leadership qualities. Any caring and supportive, community minded adult who accepts the Girl Scout Promise and Law is able to become a leader. Grandparents, college students and parents are all welcome. The Girl Scout organization will work with you to provide training and to find a meeting place. Leaders are needed for Girl Scout Daisies (kindergarten grade 1), Girl Scout Brownies (grades 2-3), Girl Scout Juniors (grades 4-5), Girl Scout Cadettes (grades 6-8), Girl Scout Seniors (grades 9- 10) and Girl Scout Ambassadors (grades 11-12).

Girl Scouting is a leadership building organization which offers opportunities for discovering new skills, connecting with other girls and the community and taking action in making the world a better place.
