Elia Gabriel Lichtenstein will be called to the Torah on June 6 as a Bar Mitzvah.

Proud parents, Ellen and Gregg Lichtenstein look forward to celebrating this event with Grandmother, Stema Levy of Margate (Joseph Levy z"l), and Grandparents David and Judy Lichtenstein of McKeesport, PA.

Elia is an honors student at E. A. Tighe School, who was just awarded student of the month by the Margate Board of Education.

His writing has been published in A Celebration of Young Poets of New Jersey in 2007, and the Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans in 2008. He has a great love of aeronautics, and has used this passion to hitch a ride on the Horizon Blimp, as well as attend NASA camp in Canada and flight camp at the FAA Tech Center.

Elia is a born runner, and has been one of the fastest runners on the Tighe Titans Cross Country Team for the last two years. He also loves science, acting, caring for his pets, biking with his parents and friends and using his imagination. He is an affable character and most of all loves laughing.
