 Bess and Ed Rovner will be celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary on May 31. Ed was raised in Atlantic City and graduated from Atlantic City High School and Bess was raised in Philadelphia, having graduated Gratz High School. They were married in Philadelphia in 1942. One day later, while on their honeymoon, Ed was called away to serve in the U.S. Air Force and served his country by teaching courses about radar. The Rovners reside at condominiums at the Plaza in Atlantic City and until recently, Hallandale, Florida. Bess and Ed have three children: Bob, Howard, and Bonnie. Bess and Ed are the proud grandparents of Steven, Danny, Brett, Seth, and Heather Rovner, and greatgrandparents of Jarett, Zack, and Alec. Ed is 90 years of age and Bess is 86. |
