NAOMI (NEE WOLOCHOW) TAPLAR
Naomi (nee Wolochow) Taplar, of Galloway, formerly of Willow Grove, Pa., and Dresher, Pa., died Monday, May 11, 2009. She was the wife of the late Albert Taplar. Mother of Mark Taplar and Deborah (Steve) Rosen. Grandmother of Jacob Taplar, Sarah Rosen, and Michelle Taplar.
Mrs. Taplar was born in and grew up in Alberta, Canada. She was a graduate of New York University and The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York. For over 30 years, Mrs. Taplar was a dedicated Hebrew School teacher - first at Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park, Pa., and then at Temple Sinai in Dresher, Pa. She loved classical music, opera and theater.
Services were held Thursday, May 14, at Temple Sinai, in Dresher, Pa. Interment was in Mt. Sharon Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.. Shiva will be held at the Rosen residence in Egg Harbor Township, on Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m., and the family will be accepting friends and family there on Sunday, May 17, starting at 2 p.m.
