Kidapalooza - Family Fun Day at the JCC

2009-01-09 / Community

The JCC will centerpiece family fun with its first annual Kidpalooza, on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 11, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The event will include a children's comedian, interactive magician, face painting, art projects and a live animal show.

Kicking off the afternoon will be The Great Holtzie. From the absurd to classic slapstick, his jokes captivate everyone, from preschoolers to parents. The Great Holtzie was named "Best Comedian For Kids" in Philadelphia Magazine's recent "Best Of Philly" issue!

Magical Ken Northridge will delight with his unique blend of mystery and magic. His fastpaced performance features a live rabbit and doves, and is filled with mystifying magical surpises, comedy and lots of audience participation.

In addition, Nature Room Critters will be on hand to pet and learn about; craft stations will bring out the artist in your child, and face painters will be ready to get you into the festive spirit.

The cost is $15 per family of five. Call Josh Cutler for more information or to register at 822- 1167 ext.138. Space is limited.
