SEASHORE GARDENS LIVING CENTER SAYS GOODBYE TO LONG TIME RESIDENT SEYMOUR SOLOMON (October 22, 1918 - December 12, 2008)
Seashore Gardens Living Center is saddened at the recent passing of long-time resident Seymour Solomon. Born on October 22, 1918 in Toms River, Mr. Solomon moved in 43 years ago to the Home's location in Atlantic City in 1965. He also made the move to the current location in Galloway in 2002, when the name became Seashore Gardens Living Center.
Seymour Solomon was a very religious man and was a mainstay in the Seashore Gardens Living Center Synagogue. His interests included classical music, reading about history, gardening, puzzles and art. He painted many pictures of the new building in Galloway after the move.
Members of Seymour's family, the Edelstein's, made possible our beautiful Louis Edelstein Assisted Living Residence. Seymour was a gentleman, always wearing a dress shirt, tie and slacks. He was a devoted brother and uncle and will be remembered with fondness by the staff and as part of the Seashore Gardens Living Center family.
