A kosher cook off with a secret ingredient
Are your taste buds up for a change? Do you think you would like to do something new and different on a Saturday night? Would you like to be one of the first to experience a new and innovative fundraiser?
Put Congregation Beth Judah on the calendar for Saturday night, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m., and its CHAI COOK OFF! - when three chefs from the area will compete for an Award of a Lifetime. The trio will compete in front of the audience in the preparation of three courses that will have a kosher twist and a secret ingredient.
See if you selection agrees with the judges (all food connoisseurs, of course). One item for each course will be prepared for you and also evaluated by the judges. You will have a gourmet meal paired with an evening of fun.
Along with dinner there will be music provided by The Change for your listening and dancing pleasure, plus a silent auction. Tickets are $36 a person. Send checks to Congregation Beth Judah, 700 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ventnor, NJ 08406. For information call 822-7116.
