On Wednesday, November 19th Seashore Gardens Living Center Assisted Living residents were treated to a special "Mystery Dinner." The mystery dinner was held in the Theatre of the Living Center, which was transformed into live stage of lights, actors and unique sets in each corner in the Theatre of the Living Center.

The suspense began after residents were served dinner. A cast of 9 staff members, in full costume, amusingly portrayed the murder of a pampered Spa patron. Five characters surfaced as murder suspects at the play's completion, and residents were given the opportunity to help solve the mystery. The case came to a close with resident Anne Wiessler's accurate deduction of who carried out the dreadful crime.

The play was directed by Activities Associate Dottie Brown, produced by the Director of Recreation & Volunteers, Missy Rundio, and narrated by Administrator Ron LaPointe. Residents and staff in the audience were both intrigued and enhanced by the performance. Paired with great food, the mystery theatre event was a tremendous hit. Plans are in the works for holding a similar performance for resident family members and the extended community. For information on upcoming activities and events, please contact the Department of Recreation and Volunteers by calling (609) 748-4407 or email rundiom@seashoregardens.org.
