Friday nights at Congregation Beth Judah now include Beth Judah Alive! and Beth Judah Alive! Unplugged service. Beth Judah Alive! is a fully instrumental Friday night service, while Beth Judah Alive! Unplugged is a more relaxed and mellow service which includes acoustic instruments.

" Both services are filled with lots of ruach (spirit) and will be uplifting. The music adds a special dimension to the traditional service, while maintaining the beauty of Shabbat," said Rabbi Aaron Gaber.

Dates are: Beth Judah Alive! Unplugged, Jan. 9 and 23; Feb. 13; March 13 and 27; May 22 and June 5.

Beth Judah Alive!, Dec. 12; Feb. 27; April 17; and June 19. Music will include traditional melodies and modern interpretations of Jewish music. For more information, call 822- 7116.
