Volunteers needed at Seashore Gardens

2008-12-04 / Community

Volunteers are needed at Seashore Gardens Living Center, a nonprofit healthcare organization, on December 25 between noon to 6 p.m. to participate in the "Lowell Gluck Holiday Volunteer Program," named in memory of longtime board member, Lowell Gluck. Each year on Christmas Day, individuals are needed to volunteer at meal times, in the gift shop, during recreation programs, and at the front desk. With the support of community volunteers, Seashore Gardens Living Center's staff members are able to have the day off to celebrate the holiday. Individuals interested in volunteering can contact Allen Kleiner, Holiday Volunteer Coordinator at (609) 641-3300 or Missy Rundio, Director of Recreation and Volunteers at (609) 748-4407. Seashore Gardens Living Center is located at 22 W. Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway Township.

"Year after year on Christmas day it is great to see many of the same people volunteering; however we are always excited to have new volunteers join us. Families and community members who donate their time on Christmas Day find it a meaningful and gratifying way to give back to the elderly members of the community" states Martin Klein, President and CEO.

Seashore Gardens Living Center offers an assisted living residence, long term nursing care, an Alzheimer's residence and rehabilitation services. For more information about Seashore Gardens Living Center, please call 404-4848 or visit www.seashoregardens.org.
