A Holiday Wine Tasting Party will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11, at Sofia of Margate, 9314 Amherst Ave., Margate, which will benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Southern Branch.

The event, scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. is being sponsored by Sofia Papastemelos, Angela Diamantis and Atlantic County Freeholder Alisa Cooper.

"We are putting this event together because, unfortunately, this holiday season is going to be very difficult for many residents of our county. We decided to host a fundraiser featuring fabulous wines from around the world, delicious hors d'ouerves, live music and a silent auction, with all of the proceeds benefiting the food bank," said Sofia Papastemelos and Angela Diamantis, owners of Sofia of Margate.
