When bad things happen to good computers
We have already seen how someone pulled the plug on our economy - and we thought we were in the best of hands. Not so.
      Well, it finally happened. My computer crashed. All my works in progress - gone! Fortunately, most of my novels are already published and listed on Amazon and elsewhere, so that's good, and as for my journalism, well, that's also preserved here and all over the Web.

Succot at the Israel Museum
Also on display is a rare Torah scroll fragment from the Book of Exodus. It includes the famous Song of the Sea, widely recognized as one of the most beautiful examples of biblical poetry.
      It's a tradition among Jews to visit Jerusalem, site of our ancient Temple, during the annual pilgrimage festivals: Succot, Passover and Shavuot. During this Succot holiday we visited the Shrine of the Book in Jerusalem's Israel Museum.
