I happen to be an inveterate fan of classical music. If you were to ask me what I consider soul music to be I would suggest the works of Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann? or Chopin.

Their music actually does touch my soul - the melody - the harmony and the theme all speak to me of peace - well being - and as I reflect on the sound I realize how fortunate I am just to be able to hear and appreciate these wonderful masterpieces.

As I contemplate my message to you this holiday season - I'm inclined to compare our lives to the unlimited range of classical music. Sometimes the sound is bombastic and punctuated with foreboding timbre - but is usually, as in a symphony or concerto, concluded with an accordant coda.

We are in the midst of volatile and cacophonous times. But with a New Year approaching I want to join you in praying for a year of good health - harmony, world peace - meaningful days and a life of personal fulfillment and contentment all imbued with a mellifluous outlook. L'Shana Tova - May it be so.
