4th Annual Jewish Summer Fest!
As summer comes to an end, and as families get ready to go back to school, Chabad gears up for its summer spectacular - the 4th annual Jewish Summer Fest!
The event is geared for the entire family. There will be a petting zoo, rides, and games for the children, as well as a delicious kosher BBQ, and entertainment that even adults will enjoy. In anticipation of the upcoming Jewish High Holidays, Chabad will be presenting the Shofar Factory, which is a handson demonstration of how a shofar is made.
"We hope to offer children and their families an exciting afternoon while giving them a sense of Jewish pride," said Rabbi Avrohom Rapoport, the event coordinator.
The Jewish Summer Fest will take place on Sunday, Aug. 24,, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Katz JCC, 501 N. Jerome Ave., in Margate. Admission is $8 per child and food will be available for purchase.
The event is organized by Chabad at the Shore. Chabad is dedicated to ensuring Jewish continuity and is the world's largest Jewish outreach organization with more than 2,500 centers globally. For more information, call: 822-8500.
