Elaine Grossman, 76, of Margate, passed away on August 6, 2008. Known to everyone as "Bubby" since the birth of her beloved grandchildren, Elaine was born in Philadelphia, and was predeceased by her husband Max in 2005. Elaine was the co-owner of Boardwalk Realty where she had a long and very successful career in real estate. Her passions in life were first her family and second the Philadelphia Phillies. She was known by all as a beloved friend and a great listener. In the 1960s she was a founding member of the Children's Asthma Research Institute and Hospital. Elaine was very proud of her children and even prouder of her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted children, David Grossman, Renee Grossman Malamut, and Michelle (John) Grossman Till; her loving sister, Flossie (Peter) Bluestein Biberman; her loving brother, Irv (Donna) Zelig and her beloved grandchildren, James, Matthew, Scott and Gregory Malamut and Joshua and Melissa Till. Graveside services were Friday, Aug. 8, at Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township. Contributions in her memory may be made to the RNS Cancer and Heart Fund, 7223 Ventnor Ave., Ventnor NJ 08406 or to the Jimmy V Foundation. Arrangements were by Roth-Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel, Atlantic City.
