Russell, son of Ilene Epstein of Linwood, and Charles Epstein of Ventnor, will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on June 21, 2008 at Congregation Beth Israel of Northfield. Russell is the grandson of Rita Rifkin (and the late Marvin Rifkin) of Atlantic City, and Philip and Claire Epstein of Queens, NY. He is a seventh grade honor student at Belhaven Middle School. He plays the baritone horn in the Belhaven Band and also plays the guitar. He loves baseball (especially the Yankees), basketball, skateboarding, playing video games and creating videos, drawing, taking care of his two Bearded Dragon Lizards, Henry and Rocky, and his BetaFish, Pablo. He attends camp in the summers at both Great Times Day Camp and overnight at Lake Greeley. He loves spending time with his family and friends. Russell, and his parents, would like to thank Rabbi Weis and Cantor Larisa Averbakh for their wonderful training and confidence in preparation for his Bar Mitzvah.
