Maurice Chouequet, of Margate, died peacefully at home, on Feb. 3. He was 95. Mr. Chouequet was born in Aleppo City, Syria, and fromthe time hewas a very young person he had a strong desire to go to Palestine. At about age 15 or 16, according to his wife, Arlette, he left home on foot and headed toward his dream.
